Assistance in Living

The Resident Services Program is a vital part of Edgewood's total lifecare concept. The program is designed to offer assistance to residents who do not require skilled nursing care but do need additional support to continue independent living.

The Resident Services Program is directed by a licensed nurse and staffed by certified nursing assistants, who provide the following personal services:

• Assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, laundry, and meal preparation
• Transportation escorts within and outside the community
• Scheduling of doctor or dentist appointments
• Pet care
• Medication reminders and cueing
• Gardening and plant care
• Apartment organization
• Companion services
