Award-winning documentary filmmaker and author Rick Beyer shares insights, anecdotes, and behind-the-scenes adventures from a history storytelling career that has taken him from nearby Lexington to far-off Siberia. His presentation will be illustrated with numerous clips and outtakes from his work.

Rick Beyer produced the acclaimed PBS documentary The Ghost Army, and is the co-author (with Elizabeth Sayles) of The Ghost Army of World War II, a New York Times bestseller. He has made documentaries for The History Channel, National Geographic, the Smithsonian and others. His most recent book, Rivals Unto Death, is a compelling new account of the Hamilton-Burr rivalry. He also wrote the popular Greatest Stories Never Told book series. He has spoken to audiences around the country and shared his unique take on history on CBS, NBC, NPR and Fox News. This is his third time visiting Edgewood Retirement Community.
