The Monte Carlo Jazz Quartet is composed of Boston-area musicians drawn from the Monte Carlo Jazz Ensemble, which performs regularly at New England Classic Jazz venues. They play the jazz and hot dance music of the golden age of American popular music, the 1920s and 1930s, from composers like George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and Walter Donaldson and jazz greats like Louis Armstrong and Benny Goodman. The musicians are Bob MacInnis, cornet, Craig Ball, clarinet and alto saxophone, Al Bernard, tuba, and Robin Verdier, piano and leader. They’re sure to get your feet tapping! Sponsored by the Music Committee.
