A celebration of the life and work of Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns will
be held. The evening will begin when the Haggis is piped in. It will be brought in by
the cook, while a piper plays bagpipes and leads the way to the table, where the
Haggis is laid down. This is followed by the reciting of the poem Address to a Haggis.
At the end of the poem, a toast will be proposed to the Haggis and then everyone
will enjoy a Roast Chicken dinner. Seating is limited. Please sign up by January 20 th
in the “Robert Burns Night” binder at the sign up desk. The meal will be counted as a
