King Arthur is a figure whose life and deeds occupy an existence that straddles the disciplines of history, literature, mythology and religion.

This course will explore the world of Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and attempt to untangle some of the mysteries of their origins and exploits. We’ll also investigate the Arthurian tales through time from Britain’s Dark Ages to Medieval, Renaissance, Victorian and modern writings.

There will be three 1.5- to 2-hour sessions, which will include lecture, discussion and viewing the movie Camelot. Advance sign up is NOT required for this course.
