Edgewood LifeCare Community, the award-winning, non-profit senior living community in North Andover, recently held a fundraiser entitled “The Longest Day” to raise funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.
The Longest Day event symbolized the challenging journey of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers. Edgewood community residents, family members and staff participated in this team event on Friday, June 19, 2015. To raise funds, participants donated $1.00 per minute for every minute of exercise spent on Edgewood’s NuStep machines. Over $600 was raised for the Alzheimer’s Association.
