The Meadows Named One of U.S. News & World Report’s Best Nursing Homes
What does it mean to stand out among a group of 15,000 of the nation’s nursing care communities? For the Edgewood family, it means going above and beyond to provide care and support programs that meet each resident’s specific needs.
Recently, our community has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for the excellent care and innovative programs offered at The Meadows — Edgewood’s health care center. Of the 15,000 communities evaluated, The Meadows was among those that received the designation of U.S. News Best Nursing Home. To receive this distinction, communities must rate exceptionally high in several key categories, including standard of care, safety, health and staffing. For over 85 years, Americans have sought out US News’ advice, rankings and analysis to make informed decisions. As such, we’re honored to receive this seal of approval from such a highly regarded publication.
At Edgewood, we believe that empowerment starts from within. This is the prevailing ethos throughout all care levels in the community. From residents who are fully independent, to those needing significant daily support (and every care level in between), we are committed to fostering a family-like atmosphere in which they can have their needs met and continue to pursue their sense of purpose.
This honor would not be possible without the contributions of our dedicated team, the members of which strive to enhance the life of each resident to the best of their ability. We’ll continue to prioritize caring for and supporting our residents above all else.
