Most resident suites at The Meadows Health Center are private, though some semi-private suites are available. All have attached bathrooms and features that help create a warm, home-like environment. Residents are also welcome to bring their own furniture and décor to further customize their suites.

Residents at The Meadows Health Center enjoy the exceptional chef-prepared, farm-to-table dining experience Edgewood is known for, served in an elegant, restaurant-style dining room. Residents choose from the same menus offered in our independent living dining venues and Edgewood’s chef oversees preparation. Meals can be personalized to accommodate individual preferences, specific dietary requirements, and special requests. Room service is also available.
Respite Care

Short-term senior respite stays at The Meadows are designed to provide temporary care for seniors while their family caregivers take care of personal needs, tend to other responsibilities, or simply take a well-deserved break. When might a person need skilled nursing care?
The need for skilled nursing care may be short-term or long-term. Skilled nursing care is appropriate for individuals who need regular daily medical care due to any of the following:
- A serious illness, heart attack, stroke, or injury such as broken bones from a fall
- An ongoing health condition or permanent disability that renders them unable to care for themselves
- Advanced Alzheimer’s disease or dementia
- Chronic severe pain
